Enterprise Un-Ltd is a skills and training provider whose mission is to positively develop and influence children and young people through skills, training and activities – enhancing and adding value to young people’s lives. Our objective is to unleash the potential of children, young people, communities and businesses – preparing, developing and nurturing talent so everyone we engage with can contribute productively in society – entering employment as skilled, professional and enterprising employees. We strive to provide a high quality service which meets the aspirations of all our learners, providing flexibility and personalised learning and giving individuals the opportunity to make positive and lasting choices for their future. Our values are themed and implemented throughout our choice of activities and are key for us in measuring our objectives in delivering our ethos. Through the work of our Youth representative we have regular youth forums that establish what the young people want from Lansdowne - they have also actively co-produced session activities this summer and have met to discuss the timetable for September. The young people can at any time give us their comments and any concerns through our comment box where they can post their comment. Sam our youth rep. coordinates the feedback and discusses with the Youth team. we comply with the LSCB Lambeth and all staff are trained in Safeguarding and child protection - we have a robust procedure for staff to follow in regards to any situation that may rise. All staff are inducted - we work through staff ratio's with children, complete risk assessments for every activity and complete session plans and evaluate. We ensure that children are safe and all parents meet us prior to children joining Lansdowne. T he Enterprise staff are a dynamic and extremely motivated and enthusiastic team, with strong leadership they communicate effectively and have the children and young people at the 'heart' of everything they do. Being at Lansdowne is fun and exciting the young people respect and enjoy their relationships with the staff and work with them to create a productive environment. We look at all we do as enhancing and developing the young peoples skills- we actively sponsor young people for the Dare London and Team leadership award with London youth we are also developing our young people through the Youth Work apprenticeship pathway. Our staff team is committed to giving every young person an opportunity - we actively accredit the young peoples progress with AQAs and an award ceremony. We have staff team meeting weekly and are always looking at additional resources and project opportunities to support the activity we are developing. We celebrate all things that the young people do through praise, rewards recognition of small steps taken and progressing through qualifications. We promote and recognise all that the young people achieve through facebook, twitter and our website. We actively encourage the young people to lead various projects to - through London Youth Denzel and Sam are leading teams as part of the Athan 31 project - they have various steps to take and are actively involved in the new refurbishment of Lansdowne
